Lots of excitement at our 10:30 Mass this morning! This Mass was the kickoff to Catholic Schools Week so our students made up the choir, readers, servers and gift bearers.
St. Elizabeth School alumni Steve Mathes shared his good experiences as a student and now a parent and encouraged us all to attend the PTO Auction ‘Wild West’ on March 12.
Next, we had 8th grader Lily Meyenberg share with us why she loves her school so much.
At the conclusion of Mass, Robb Woolen, President of the Columbus Home Association and Dwayne Saul, Faithful Navigator of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus, presented checks to Father Alfred, Principal Michelle Williams and members of St Elizabeth Catholic School Student Council totaling $125,000 for our school!
An additional $11,000 was presented to Father Alfred for the parish. We are so very proud of our school and our students. Our gratitude is overflowing to the men of the Knights of Columbus for their generous support of our school and parish. Thank you so much!
